401 West 14th Street is a 65,000 square-foot, mixed-use building located at the gateway to the Manhattan’s historic Meatpacking District at the corner of 14th Street and Ninth Avenue. Taconic assembled an award-winning design team to reposition the property into a neighborhood-defining retail opportunity. Taconic replaced all building systems, constructed a new lobby and building core, redesigned and replaced all windows and retail storefronts and obtained approvals from the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission to build a penthouse addition. The property has since been leased to world-renowned tenants and brands, including Apple, which leases 47,000 square feet of retail and office space.
